Beautiful machines and an equally stunning environment was on hand for this shoot!

We had the privilege to produce this operator feature video about STARS for Vertical Magazine. Primarily serving Alberta and Saskatchewan, STARS utilizes a fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters.

Our visit with STARS included flights around the Calgary metro area, as well as some time spent in the beautiful Canadian Rockies.

This video was used as a supplement to a feature article inside of Vertical Magazine.

STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service) is a non-profit organization providing air ambulance services in Canada. Founded in 1985, it operates from bases in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, delivering rapid and specialized medical care to critically ill and injured patients in remote and inaccessible areas.

With a fleet of helicopters and airplanes equipped with advanced medical equipment and staffed by highly trained paramedics, nurses, and physicians, STARS responds to emergencies ranging from car accidents to medical crises in rural and urban settings. Their rapid response capabilities significantly reduce the time it takes to transport patients to specialized trauma centers, improving their chances of survival and recovery.

STARS also plays a vital role in providing inter-facility transfers for patients requiring specialized care not available in their local hospitals. Additionally, they engage in community outreach programs, education, and research to enhance pre-hospital care and improve outcomes for patients across Western Canada.
