Project:

We had the great pleasure of producing this video for Skies Magazine. It features the F18 Hornet, also known as the CF18 in Canada. Part of a larger series, it celebrates the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centennial.

The majority of this video was filmed in Cold Lake, Alberta with 409 Squadron. Some of the footage was shot in New Orleans, Louisiana during training operation Cougar South, with a couple of other RCAF Hornet Squadrons.

Filming aviation projects like the F18 Hornet video has become a passion for our team. Whether fixed-wing or helicopter, we are happy in the air!

The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) is a cornerstone of Canada’s defense capabilities, tasked with safeguarding the nation’s airspace and supporting international peacekeeping efforts. Among its fleet of aircraft, the CF-18 Hornet stands out as a symbol of strength, agility, and versatility.

The CF-18 Hornet, a multi-role fighter jet, has been a mainstay of the RCAF since its introduction in the 1980s. Renowned for its exceptional performance and combat capabilities, the CF-18 is a formidable asset in both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. Its speed, maneuverability, and advanced avionics make it well-suited for a wide range of missions, including air defense, close air support, and reconnaissance.

Throughout its service history, the CF-18 has proven its mettle in numerous operations and exercises, both domestically and internationally. From NORAD patrols to NATO missions, the CF-18 has consistently demonstrated its ability to respond swiftly and decisively to emerging threats, earning accolades for its reliability and effectiveness.
