Project Overview: 

We produced this animated explainer video for Durham Region as a component of a three part series. The series was created to help Durham Region educate the public about emergency preparedness and how Durham Region is preparing for the future.

This particular animation focused on climate change and how it will affect Durham Region. The video uses specific examples to help illustrate some challenges and how they will touch the lives of the general population. It also provides some ideas on how these challenges can be better prepared for.

Durham Region chose to create their video series with animation as it allowed for greater flexibility in content than a live action production. This particular style of animation was also cost effective and helped them stay within their budget.
